It was a glorious summers day, everything bathed in the heat of the midday sun, not a shadow in sight beneath the immaculate blue sky in Positano. He felt the constant gentle sea breeze, with its slight saltiness, caressing everything in its path, a reminder of the sea’s proximity. Standing proud, the unique, steeply-stepped houses nestled in the hillside, in tons of peach, pink and terracotta, all paying homage to the coast. He was fascinated by the tiny, well-kept gardens with lemon and orange trees laidened with fruit, together with pots brimming with lavender, bayleaf, rosemary and thyme that instantly evoke the aromatic indulgence of the Mediterranean cuisine. It was always the unexpected from Positano that he loved, and kept him returning to the very dramatic and exclusive delights of this treasure on the Amalfi coast.
